The girls quickly made it their domain.
It was the children's playroom until we remodeled our basement and sent them downstairs.
But, it was often used for entertaining and was originally decorated in wicker. This above photo was made in winter since the patio furniture is inside.
But, the walls needed a lot of work---the tape on the dry wall had popped, puckered, twisted. So, we decided to have it repaired and painted (the windows and french doors needed paint, too).
Oh, I forgot, our space heater of 28 years had also died. Here you can see how much the paint had faded.

Unfortunately, we were hit by several ice and snow storms, so what was supposed to be a 3 day project turned into 2 weeks.
But, I'm very happy with how it looks. I know my daughters are thinking it doesn't look much different. . .
But, I liked how it looked and really the paint IS a little more subdued (see center color below).

i'm glad it's not as "glassy" as most sunrooms. i think this is more cozy & looks part of the house, not like just a seasonal "sun porch". yeah about the paint. that name should not have "pumpkin" in it. :) maybe in person i'll be able to tell? i KNOW i'll notice the repairs, though! great work!
I think it looks Great! I love the new french doors. Your family has loved this room for almost 30 years and now the grandkids will enjoy it as well for the next 30. (I didn't realize Leah was so young when it was built.
