Fry Family Reunion Part I

We love going to Phoenix X where we have stayed about 6 times over the past 8-10 years.  We have never stayed in the same unit twice which makes life interesting.  While this condo had an abundance of sharp knives (at least 20) and remotes that we had no ideas what they went to all lined up in the master bed room, it was lacking containers for left-overs.

I could use each of the compartments of the Snowman Servette or store food in bags. . . .We were solo in the 3-bedroom condo until the Lewis' family came around midnight.  The next morning Roman, Rebecca and I went walking on the beach and around the condo---Tom and Donna came that afternoon.

Between Two Worlds

Most of my life, I've considered it fortunate that I was just ahead of the Baby-boom. Generally, the Baby-boomers were born between 1946 and 1964 after the fathers returned from World War II. It was a huge population explosion that has reverberated through American society.

This blog will be part history, part memories, part reflections of a retired teacher, but active "Senior". I have always felt like I straddled two generations forming a bridge. Sometimes I think like a baby-boomer, but sometimes I'm locked into my parents' Depression era thinking. I'm a dichotomy of two eras. But, I'm always ready to try something new---so here I am dipping my toes in the water of Blogworld.
