We got to Dale and Sarah's wedding on Monument Beach in Cape Cod early to find the groom putting up the signs.
We watched the florist and officiate unpack their cars, and then other family members began to appear.
Donna, Glen, Meredith, Todd, Tom, Dave, Scott and Karen!
Donna pinned boutonnieres on both of her sons.
Todd and Dave tried out our chairs on the edge of the beach.
Tom, Donna and Meredith caught up with old friend Gerri.
And then, the moment we were all waiting for---the bride being escorted by her father.
The guests formed an aisle for their entrance.
Bride and groom after the wedding.
A group shot of the guests (they will have to photo shop us in, I guess). Other photos followed until the rain began, but Dave and I had already arrived at the reception at the Brookside Club.

Between Two Worlds
Most of my life, I've considered it fortunate that I was just ahead of the Baby-boom. Generally, the Baby-boomers were born between 1946 and 1964 after the fathers returned from World War II. It was a huge population explosion that has reverberated through American society.
This blog will be part history, part memories, part reflections of a retired teacher, but active "Senior". I have always felt like I straddled two generations forming a bridge. Sometimes I think like a baby-boomer, but sometimes I'm locked into my parents' Depression era thinking. I'm a dichotomy of two eras. But, I'm always ready to try something new---so here I am dipping my toes in the water of Blogworld.
