After a walk in the morning, Roman and I went to church where the children stay in worship for half of the worship service. Here's Roman "levitating" during worship.
Compare him to Sally whose Daddy was a friend of my daughter Rebecca's---she looks so sweet, lady-like and annoyed by us.
Then, we went to Sunday School---Roman wanted me to stay with him which I did. After a doughnut run, lunch and a nap, we went to an Open House for Kristen and Todd who will be moving to England with their two small boys in a few weeks.
Kristen was one of Rachel's friends in high school---here she is with Timothy who'd just gotten up from his nap.
Here is Todd with Timothy---Good Luck to them with their Children's Ministry outside of London!
Meanwhile, Roman played with Christopher whose Mommy is Rebecca's friend.
They are only about 3 weeks apart in age and played so well together!
But, soon it was time to come home, eat a little dinner, take a bath, sit on Grandpa's lap while watching "Barney." The next day, we headed to Kansas City to take Roman back home after his weekend at Camp Morgan!

Between Two Worlds
Most of my life, I've considered it fortunate that I was just ahead of the Baby-boom. Generally, the Baby-boomers were born between 1946 and 1964 after the fathers returned from World War II. It was a huge population explosion that has reverberated through American society.
This blog will be part history, part memories, part reflections of a retired teacher, but active "Senior". I have always felt like I straddled two generations forming a bridge. Sometimes I think like a baby-boomer, but sometimes I'm locked into my parents' Depression era thinking. I'm a dichotomy of two eras. But, I'm always ready to try something new---so here I am dipping my toes in the water of Blogworld.

Looks like a great camp! And I'm sure the camp counselors enjoyed themselves as much as the camper!
